Our Coaches

LES CLEEVELY

Les has worked with Petr Cech and Carlo Cudicini (Chelsea FC), Edwin Van De Saar (Manchester United), Maik Taylor ( Birmingham City), Cedric Berthalan (Crystal Palace), Astrid Johanssen (Norway International), Thomas Myhre (Charlton Athletic) to name a few. His playing career has taken him from Southampton FC, Notts County and Crystal Palace FC, to Sweden and back. His non-league experience includes both playing, coaching and Managing at Farnborough, Dulwich Hamlet, Carshalton Athletic, Sutton United and Walton & Hersham. He has coached at Milwall, Fulham and Crystal Palace, covering the youth academy, 1st team, reserves and the Ladies. He is also a highly respected coach at Harrodian, Colet Court and St Pauls, Whitgift and Cumnor House having previously coached at Eton College. Over the last few years he has also run the Goalkeeping Programme in the USA on behalf of Quickskills Soccer at Pittsburgh, Coerver Coaching at St Lawrence, Lake Placid and New Paltz. He is a fully qualified “B” licence FA Coach and one of the few who also holds the highly accredited UEFA “A” licence.


STUART SEARLE

Stuart has been with us for 9 years. He currently plays a very high standard of football at MK DONS in the 1st Division, previously he was with Chelsea Reserves and before that played at Basingstoke Town FC. He has also played for Wimbledon FC Youth Academy, Woking, Aldershot Town, Carshalton Athletic as well as Barnet FC, as well as for the England Non-League team. He stayed within the Wimbledon FC ranks coaching goalkeepers of all youth age groups within the academy, 1st team and reserves until their move to Milton Keynes and was a highly respected coach at Chelsea Fc Academy before joining the Reserves as a player. He is an excellent UEFA "B" Licence coach and is invaluable to us with both his coaching and organisational skills.

LUKE CUFF-BURNETT

Luke spent 4 years working for an internationally recognised Gym based in Bath, as well as spending time with numerous Strength and Conditioning experts, Luke brings a knowledge base of injury prevention and mobility work to sessions that the boys both benefit from, and enjoy. Being involved in both rugby and football over the last 16 years, including numerous domestic and international tournaments of Rugby 7s, Luke's modern take on dynamic warm ups and the importance of mobility work has proved to encourage the students as well as educate them. With qualifications in Gym Instruction, Personal Training, Nutrition L2, FA Level 1 and currently pursuing both FA and RFU Level 2 work, there is still plenty more to give to Skill Skool and its students over the coming years.
